SEROMAX RA is a diagnostic test used to measure the level of rheumatoid factor (RF) in a patient’s blood sample. RF is an autoantibody produced by the immune system that is associated with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and other autoimmune disorders.

The Serology Rheumatoid Arthritis Test Kit utilizes a latex agglutination method to detect and quantify RF levels. The test is performed by mixing the patient’s serum with latex particles coated with human immunoglobulin G (IgG). If RF is present in the serum, it will bind to the IgG-coated latex particles, causing visible agglutination or clumping.
