VDRL test kit procedure

The VDRL test is a screening test for syphilis. This test is actually done to determine the antibodies which a human body produces whenever any human body comes in contact with any virus. 

How is the test carried out?

When the needle is pricked into your body to draw blood, some may feel temperate pain and some may feel some pricking effect. You can also feel a little discoloration which will go away within no time. 

Why is this VDRL done over the human body? 

This test is carried out to find the symptoms of syphilis. The bacteria that cause this syndrome syphilis are named as Treponema pallidum. This test needs to be done over your body if the health practitioner feels like any kind of STD sexually transmitted diseases symptoms in your body. This screening or test is actually a regular part of the prenatal part when a woman is pregnant. Doctors have available a VDRL rapid test kit with the help of which they conduct this test. 

Test procedure:- Place the cartridge on a clean and flat plane. Soon after opening the kit, it needs to be used quickly. There is a dropper in the kit which is used to transfer the blood samples. The results will appear on the kit within 5 minutes.
